Jared Carter’s new book of poems, delayed for more than a year, will now be published on 10 April 2012. There will be a “book launch” at the Flat 12 Bierwerks in Indianapolis on 29 April at 4 p.m.
The new collection will be a paperback with ISBN number of 978-1-936138-27-2 and the price will be $15.00. An image of the front cover is shown above.
Wind Publications, an independent small press located in Nicholasville, Kentucky, publishes a wide range of books having both regional and national significance. Wind published Carter’s fourth volume, Cross this Bridge at a Walk, in 2006.
Please stay tuned to this blog for further announcements concerning A Dance in the Street, and consult Wind’s web site for a complete listing of its current and forthcoming titles.
In the meantime, here’s a peek at the new book’s Acknowledgments page, listing the poems that will be included, and the names of the magazines and web sites where they were first published. The highlighted links will take you to some of the poems that are currently online.
