I’ll be selling copies of the new book, A Dance in the Street, at the annual Woodruff Place Flea Market this coming Saturday and Sunday. If you’re in Indy, don’t miss the chance to visit this terrific neighborhood event on the Near Eastside of the Indianapolis.
Woodruff Place, first laid out in 1872, is one of the oldest planned communities in the country, with its ornate Victorian homes, flowing fountains, and avenues of tall trees. The Flea Market, now in its fourth decade, draws buyers and visitors from all over the Midwest.
There’s plenty of food available, and hundreds of booths and front-porches offering antiques, tools, knick-knacks, books, and stuff cleaned out of garages and attics only the day before. Bargains galore!
You’ll find my bookseller’s booth somewhere near 655 West Drive. I’ll have copies of all my books for sale, and I’ll be offering a free container of catnip with each purchase. It’s homegrown catnip from The Old Orchard, and it can’t be beat for getting felines high.
So please stop around, look over the book selection, and consider doing your cat a favor!
